Myspace has been converting all artist profiles to the new 3.0 format, so if you haven’t already noticed, your custom designed page is no longer in working order. Myspace has disabled all custom CSS on these new profiles, which means that it is not possible to completely overhaul a page like in the past.
What can still be done?
Myspace has created an expandable “marquee” which allows any artist or individual to easily place a header image at the top of their profile, though it does still require a little HTML to get it looking proper. You can also choose from their selection of default themes, change colours as well as your background image, and reposition content box modules in an order of your liking. We expect to see some new modules and options in the future, but for now customizing is very limited for the inexperienced.
BandSpaces is currently offering conversion services for past clients. This will allow your design that was completed by the company to be restructured and transferred over to the new format. New clients can still take advantage of the full range of BandSpaces services, including 3.0 Myspace profile design by visiting www.bandspaces.com and requesting a quote as usual. Check out the Samples page for some recent 3.0 profile designs, and check back as more are constantly added!
